Delighted to report that Yogi has won his first field trial. Many thanks to the Radbourne Shoot in Derbyshire, who did a fantastic job of hosting The German Shorthaired Pointer Association Novice Field Trial, despite Covid's best efforts. Good retrieve Yogi ran in his first Field Trial last week. Islay at 10 months

18.5 kg and 22.5 inches. Little Islay went through a bit of nervous adolescent period but she has emerged much more confident. I have seen this before in bitches of her age so wasn't overly concerned. She's sharp as a tack and reacts instantly to the whistle. Training is coming on well, she marks retrieves accurately, and goes out like a rocket. Her hunting is also high octane doing everything at 100mph.
